LASER THERAPY FOR YOUR PET
Cape May Vet has a laser therapy machine. Does your pet suffer from arthritis, inflammation, joint pain, non healing wounds, or painful injuries? We now offer Multi-wave Lock System Laser Therapy.
This type of laser is a state of the art class IV infrared cold laser. MLS (Multi-wave Lock system) Laser Therapy works at a cellular level using a combination of laser emissions– decreasing swelling and pain and accelerating the healing process at the same time. Until now, there have been only pulsed light lasers that control swelling and continuous light lasers that control pain. The MLS provides both benefits in one treatment.
Therapeutic laser can bring relief to your pet from conditions commonly treated with long term medications. It is a safe, painless, non-invasive, stress free treatment that can be done while you wait. Ask us how it can help your pet today.
ULTRASOUND AND RADIOLOGY
Ultrasound enables us to see internal structures by transmitting high frequency sound waves into the body. Identical to the technology used in human medicine (particularly human pregnancy evaluation), this process is completely harmless and it's not painful.
Why is it necessary? Your pet may have symptoms that indicate something could be wrong internally. With ultrasound, we can visualize the heart, kidneys, bladder, stomach, liver, and other organs to help determine your pet's condition, without surgery. Ultrasound can allow us to diagnose quickly, saving time, stress and very often, the lives of our patients.
Conditions that can be easily recognized and diagnosed with ultrasound:
Enlarged Heart, Kidney Stone, Bladder Infection, Splenic Disease, Various Tumors, Bladder Stone and hundreds more...
